The Best Time to Go

According to StagWeb's stats, 46% of guys partying with us went in March and April.

These months are popular for three reasons:

  • Stags can enjoy nice weather without the intensity of the peak summer months.
  • It's before the main wedding season, so there's time to recover before the big day.
  • You miss the price rises of the summer holidays.

How Long Do People Go For?

41% of stags stay for 3 days and (2 nights) with many more groups extending their stay for 3 nights.

Travelling to Spain doesn't take too long, and you can cover Valencia's range of nightlife spots and awesome activities during this time.

3 days of party mayhem.

How Soon Do People Book?

Last year, guys heading to Valencia booked 2 months before they were due to go, which is cutting it fine.

Considering the average is four months, according to our end-of-year stats, it's a lot later than usual.

Obviously, the later you book, the less flexibility you'll get.

Make sure you get in there early and secure your favourite accommodation, activities and nights out.

How to Get to Valencia...

What Airport to Fly to...

You will need to fly to Valencia Airport (also known as Aeroport de Valencia or Manises Airport).

Plenty of UK airports fly here but check early on to avoid any last-minute complications.

How Long is the Flight from the UK

It takes about 2.5 hours to fly to Valencia from the UK.

Not far to go for sun, sea and ice-cold Spanish beers!

Getting from the Airport to Valencia

The airport to Valencia city centre is just 9.6km.

Two metro lines can get you to and from the centre and the tickets cost around €5.80 (it takes around 20 mins).

A bus can also take you from the airport - it leaves every 30 minutes and costs €1.45, so it's a great, budget-friendly way to get to the centre.

Plenty of taxis wait outside the airport and cost around €20 - share the cab and split the fare to make it cheaper.

However, the easiest way to get to Valencia, by far, is to book a private airport transfer - it'll wait outside the airport and take you to your doorstep.

Tick the box on your Valencia enquiry form and we'll add it to your quote.

Tips On Getting Around Valencia

A good shout for getting about the city is buying a Valencia Tourist Card which grants you free travel on public transport (as well as entry to museums and other attractions).

Bus - The city's bus service is frequent and reliable, so it's a great hop-on hop-off method of transport.

Metro - The underground has 9 different lines meaning you can get anywhere in the city and on weekends they run until 03:00.

Walking - Valencia is a walkable city around the centre, but other options will come in handy if you want to travel further.

Taxi - Available 24 hours a day and definitely another good option for getting back to the stag pad after a night out.
