Forget everything you thought you knew about serene, moderate Exeter when it comes to adrenaline-fuelled outdoor stag activities, this town dominates the South West. Exeter stag do activities are in a great position to take full advantage of the countryside surrounding it, so you and the boys are in a prime location to get out and stretch your legs with something like golf or mountain biking or explore the Exe with some extreme water sports. There's plenty of chance for you to indulge your competitive sides too, with sports like basketball, 5 a side, or paintball to try or watch some horse racing at the phenomenal Exeter race track if you'd rather watch someone else doing the hard work. With the River Exe dividing the town, there are plenty of opportunities for stags to throw themselves in the deep end with some extreme water sports in Exeter. The water can get a little nippy, so many of the best watersports activities are seasonal but since the season often stretches from March to October, with a little forethought you and the lads will have plenty of time to make a splash in Exeter. Fishing is one of the most popular Exeter stag do activities, providing stags with the opportunity to go out on the water, crack open a few beers, and enjoy a bit of banter about who's got the best lines and tackle. If you're more up for flopping around like a fish than catching any, our ringos experience is a guaranteed laugh for all the boys. You'll take turns in sitting in the giant rubber rings, whilst the rest of the guys pile in the speedboat and laugh themselves silly at the sight of you bouncing around the surface of the lake like a skipped rock. If you'd rather try something a bit more extreme, waterskiing is ideal for adrenaline junkie stags who are tired of the usual stag do pursuits and want to try something a little different, and live out their James Bond stunt fantasies (we've all been there).
On Your Feet
The South West region has more coastline than anywhere else in the UK, and there's really only one way to get up close and personal with it in Exeter. Coasteering isn't for the faint-hearted, combining swimming in open sea, rock climbing, and cliff jumping into one intense activity. It's only available in summer because the last thing you want after scrambling up the side of the UK and throwing yourself off a cliff into the British Channel is to catch a cold. If you'd prefer to keep on dry land, but still want the opportunity to force all your mates to their physical limits and beyond, try an assault course, and we mean try, since actually succeeding is the sort of pipe dream to be treasured by none but the fittest amongst you. Make sure at least one stag is in worse shape than you, or get ready to face a lot of sniggering and jeering from the boys.
