glasgow clay pigeon shooting is set into the natural landscape providing all sorts of simulated game targets for the complete beginner to the "top gun"! The clay targets are launched from electrically operated traps. You and the lads will be given full instruction on how to hit that flying target, so don't worry if you have never tried it before! This is one of the most popular activities for stag groups, so why not include it in your Glasgow stag weekend.
format
upon arrival you and the guys will be met by our friendly instructors, who give you a full safety briefing. You will then begin your activity with a practice fire. Once you're all comfortable with the techniques required the competition begins! You will earn points for each broken clay.
duration
your clay pigeon session will last approx 2 hours which will give you plenty of time to home your sights, steady your trigger finger, and blast your way through your 25 clays (more clays can be purchased on site).
equipment
at StagWeb we ensure you only use the best equipment available, which includes shotguns, ear muffs and protective goggles.
clothing
you need to dress comfortably and be non-restricted; although you'll not really get muddy, it's still not advised to wear your Sunday best! It's also recommended you check the weather before arriving as you may wish you had brought a towel.
