segway polo Stag Party in newquay
Riding a Segway? That seemed far too dull to us. Backwards, forwards, left right, yawn... No. When we set our stags a challenge we expect there to be laughs, collisions, mayhem and a bit more danger. Without it, it simply wouldn't be a stag weekend. And these aren't your average Segways but come with fat off-road wheels for added traction and control.
You'll start with learning the basics to staying upright on your new electronic steeds. It's actually pretty easy, lean forward to go forwards, lean back to slow/stop, lean left to go left and right to go right. If we need to go over that again you're possibly not the right men for the job.
Once you've got the hang of things then it's time to take things up a notch and get competitive.
'Junkyard' Assault Course - You'll be heading off-road through wood land and over a series of bumps jumps and obstacles. After a few added challenges you'll then be racing against your fellow stags to find the fastest driver. 90 minutes in duration.
Segway Polo - It's just like regular polo with all the posh blokes and expensive Arabian polo ponies. But a lot more mad, plus it hurts less when you fall off a Segway. This is a full-on team game with plenty of banter and of course the opportunity for a gentlemanly wager between the opposing teams. 30 minutes duration.
Segways are quite unlike anything you'll have ridden before and getting them off-road is superb fun. Turning it into your own Top Gear style challenge makes it even better as the lads compete to take the title of Stag Stig. It's then just a matter of who will be Captain Slow.
