The Best Time to Go

According to our stats for 2023, 78% of all our stags who went to Bournemouth headed down between March and August.

Really, with a coastal UK destination, you want to go when the weather is at its best, otherwise, it can be pretty bleak.

However, if you're not planning on enjoying the beach or taking on any outdoor activities, you can have a cracking weekend in Bournemouth any time of the year.

How Long Do People Go For?

The majority of stags (55%) who partied with us in Bournemouth last year went there for 2 nights.

Some groups did more than two, but not many bothered with fewer.

No, you need at least two nights to really scratch the surface of this party town and enjoy all that it has to offer.

How Soon Do People Book?

Stags heading to Bournemouth last year booked nearly 5 months ahead of their event, which is more than the average (4 months).

That means, if you're thinking about going to Bournemouth, you need to try and book as early as possible because all the best houses, hotels, nights out and activities will book up early doors.

Being a coastal destination, you're not just competing with other stags, but hen parties and families looking at their summer getaways.

Book early to avoid disappointment, pal.

Where to Stay in Bournemouth

Bournemouth isn't the biggest place in the UK, but you still don't want to base yourselves miles out of town.

The town centre, Triangle, Old Christchurch Road, Exeter Road and Boscombe are all decent drinking spots, so anywhere near there would work well if that's your vibe.

Check out our range of Bournemouth stag accommodation. Here, you'll find the perfect stag-friendly stay for you and the guys. Each one has a map of its location, so you can see exactly where you'll be based.
